S-SL2: Shopping Pattern Recognition

S-SL2: Shopping Pattern Recognition, the operational capability for transforming raw observation into actionable intelligence by identifying systematic behaviours at the Store-Level within the S: Shopper Insight Application pillar of the Route to Shopper® methodology. This module establishes the operational capability to convert observation into actionable intelligence by identifying consistent shopper behaviours within the retail environment. Building on S-HO2 strategic frameworks and S-SL1 data collection, it provides methods for recognising purchase combinations, mapping shopping sequences, analysing navigation flows, identifying decision points and understanding product interactions. It shifts understanding from anecdotal impressions to evidence-based insight, enabling store teams to optimise merchandising, layout and service based on actual shopper behaviour.
